Dr George Poonkhin Khut is an artist, academic and interaction-designer working across the fields of art, health and interaction design at UNSW Art& Design, in Sydney, Australia.
He has been working with sensor-based technologies since 2002, creating intimate, body-focused interactive artworks that re-frame our experiences of embodiment, subjectivity and presence, and has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Queensland Art Gallery, 2012 National New Media Art Award. Previous UK exhibitions include Nightshift (2003) and Cardiomorphologies (2006), both presented at Arnolfini, Bristol, as part of In Between Time.
