Kate Owens
Kate Owens is a writer and artist working primarily with photography and text, and exploring mental health, memory and memoir. She completed an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths University in 2014 and has a BA Honours in Film & Photography from the University of Wales, Newport.
She has exhibited in the UK, Holland, India and the US. Her series 28 Day Flower Diary was published in Hotshoe magazine and The Sunday Times and shown at galleries including Flowers East, London, LANG, London and Unseen, Amsterdam.
She has just completed writing the first of three fictionalised memoirs about photography.
Neeta Madahar
Neeta Madahar is an artist, and meditation and yoga teacher. She uses
primarily photography and time-based media to explore constructions of
nature, artifice and perception with an auto-biographical influence. She
has collaborated with Kate Owens on Me and the Black Dog.
Neeta
has exhibited widely including at Iniva (2005), the National Media
Museum (2009), after receiving the 2008/9 Bradford Fellowship in
Photography, and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art (2013). She has
received commissions from organisations including Film and Video
Umbrella and Photoworks. Her work is held in collections including the
Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the V&A Museum.
