Laura Palavecino is a transmedia artist, professor, and researcher with degrees in Image and Sound Design and a Master's in Electronic Arts from Argentina. Her work merges traditional art and technology, focusing on interactive narratives and experimental installations that engage with environmental studies and ancestral stories. As a co-founder of Women in Games Argentina, she advocates for gender diversity in the gaming industry. Laura has received numerous awards, including the ELAP grant in Canada and recognition at the Kosice Biennial. She teaches at the National University of Rosario and coordinates the Games Studies journals at the University of Palermo. Laura's art has been exhibited in various venues across Argentina and internationally, including Fundación Proa, Museo de la Inmigración, Cultural San Martín, CCK, Factors 8.0 BIENALSUR (Brazil), AMAZE Festival (Berlin, Germany), Now Play This (London, UK) and Aux futurs ancestraux (Guyancourt, France).
