Zbigniew Oksiuta is an artist and architect. His works blend together art, architecture and biology.

He was born April 4 1951 in Mulawicze (close to Białystok). He attended the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology between 1970 and 1978. He founded the Centre of Theatre and Ecology Research in Jelenia Góra, which he ran in between 1979 and 1981. In 1981, he left for West Germany and has lived and worked in Cologne ever since.
