Pearl Vision is a self-portrait of material and digital obsession in a time when it is becoming more difficult to tell what is and what isn’t real.
In this short film, the snare drum becomes an object of extreme focus, in a similar way to an advertisement or an instructional YouTube video. However, the actual snare drum remains physically removed from the film, and is presented purely through high definition CGI and audio.
