Join us for a unique event brought to you by Liverpool-based theatre and arts charity Collective Encounters, as they present a performance in response to Pilvi Takala’s artwork Close Watch (2022).
Community Chronicles is a local theatre group led by facilitator and cabaret artist Abi Horsfield and is part of the wider work carried out by theatre and arts charity Collective Encounters. They use a wide range of theatre disciplines to explore social and political issues. In this special performance, the group will employ techniques to challenge and disrupt everyday behaviours we typically learn and conform to, encouraging us to look at the world around us differently.
This Community Chronicles performance features live music from a band and incorporates elements of immersive, improvised theatre. Performers will weave prompts and suggestions from audience members into the piece, creating a one-off, interactive theatre experience.
