Booking required — £7
In this session, you’ll learn how to effectively use green screens as part of a set by working elements of digital artistry into production design. Offering filmmakers insight into the aesthetic choices that bring virtual and practical elements together, this workshop will teach you the basics of using green screens to create unique effects. We’ll cover setup to troubleshooting, before moving on to the creative potential of digital extensions in world-building.
Expect practical demos, interactive exercises, and case studies on how digital set extensions are shaping modern storytelling. By the end, attendees will have hands-on experience and a fresh perspective on integrating these techniques into their own projects, transforming ordinary scenes into visually dynamic, cinematic experiences, on a short filmmaker's budget.
This workshop is led by industry professionals who have had experience working in digital set extensions, but the session will focus on how to use these techniques for your own projects, providing vital skills that will help develop your creative practice, whilst giving insight into how it could be used with more resources.
