Welcome to the world of REIMAGINING BLACK FUTURES. This is a brainchild nurtured by three remarkable Black women who call Liverpool their home – Sumuyya, Ni Maxine, and Mia (Mimi) Thornton. This gathering is your spot, a place where all you North West Black creatives can kick back, have a friendly chat about your creative journeys, and dream up the wonderful changes you'd like to see happening in your lives and creative community. REIMAGINING BLACK FUTURES isn't a one-off event; it's a welcoming space where we collectively shape our destinies, blending our artistic passions.
This is all about sparking genuine conversations about what it's like to be a Black creative and the amazing transformations we're eager to see unfold in our lives and our local neighbourhoods. It's the beginning of a mission we hold dear – to build a vibrant community where Black creativity, voices, and ownership shine brightly.
Here's what's on the horizon for you:
A chance to mingle and catch-up with your fellow North West Black creatives in the relaxed atmosphere of FACT’s café.

We'll toss out some thought-provoking questions, and you're welcome to join in with a friendly chat or jot down your reflections, however suits your fancy.
