FACT is calling on all filmmakers in the north west of England to submit their short films for Cinema in the City, a new cinematic experience that presents the best independent films in extraordinary places across Liverpool.
Supporting film and local talent is at the heart of FACT and with a wealth of emerging talent across the region, Cinema in the City offers future filmmakers the opportunity to publicly screen their work alongside the best in independent cinema. The programme will showcase films from different genres including contemporary, documentary and non-English language, whilst connecting to FACT's artistic programme and themes of belonging.

Submit your short film for the chance to be screened to an audience of over 100 cinemagoers at LUSH, Church Street, Liverpool on Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December 2021.
Films entered for consideration must be original films of all genres: fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental film. All films must be up to 15 minutes in length, no older than 2 years and be in English or with English subtitles.
One short film will be selected for each screening and the successful artists / filmmakers will receive a screening fee of £100 plus two tickets to their screening.
