Young People Interview: R.I.P. Germain

Get to know artist R.I.P. Germain and his installation “After GOD, Dudus Comes Next!” in an audio interview with four young people from Liverpool: Beckie, Aisha, Jayden and Jaycob.

Beckie and Aisha are part of Liverpool City Council’s Young Inspectors, a vital team that is trained to quality assure young people’s provision and capture other Young People’s voices.

Jaycob and Jayden are long-term collaborators with FACT, having worked with us during the creation and installation of Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley’s installation and game, When our worlds meet, in 2022-23. 

Together, alongside R.I.P. Germain, they chat about their experiences, opinions and thoughts on the exhibition touching on topics of social currency, UK drill music, symbolism and the stories behind the use of Tupac Shakur’s image in the exhibition.
