Taking place in Gallery 2 on the First Floor, Quiet Hour is designed to create a welcoming and accessible environment for autistic and neurodivergent visitors. 

During this hour, we make several adjustments and provisions to enhance your experience:

• The sound levels of artworks, films, and games will be lowered 
• Lighting will be adjusted to create a softer and more relaxed environment
• Ear defenders are available to use. You are also welcome to bring your own.
• Sensory packs are available for you to use during your visit
• A calm corner will be available outside of Gallery 2 for those who wish to take a break from their exhibition visit
• Gallery guides in varying formats will be available
• PECS - picture exchange communication system will be available
• Quiet Hour signs will be visible in the gallery

Until Sunday 27 April 2025, the exhibition in Gallery 2 is Art Plays Games. 

Please note the gallery will be closed to update the games on display from 3 - 9 March 2025.
